MIRROR MIRROR

Yesterday was one of those magical days…
When I had no other agenda…
But to write.
I had no where to go…
I didn’t have to do anything for anybody…
No errands…
No bills needed to be paid.
And so I got comfy…
Hunkered down to do…
NaNoWriMo…
Send out some queries…
Edit my W.I.P…
And do some research.
By 5 o’clock I felt great…
I–
Dear GOD!
Who the hell was that hag in the mirror?
Why…
It was…
Me!
EEEEEE!
Seems my no agenda/no do anything day…
Meant forgoing make-up…
Forgetting to style hair…
And wearing an outfit fit only for the rag bag.
But oh, it was so sweet being so comfy…
And paying no attention…
To external me…
Just letting the internal-writer me…
Be free.
So?
Ever have a magical day of writing?
Or…
When you write…
Just how comfy do you get?
Here’s a tip…
If you’re like me—steer clear of mirrors.

Always, Em-Musing

Haha! Welcome to my world. I spend most the day looking like death warmed over! The plus side: you look really good when you *do* brush your hair! It's all relative!

Oh my gosh, if I've done an extensive day of writing, my eyes look they've been punched. Seriously!

I so wish I could do nothing and let the internal writer in me free! I guess that's what tonight's for.
