CAUTION: DON'T WRITE THAT

Well!
I just got censored!
By
Me!
I wrote something this morning
Was just about ready to "publish post"
But
Kept re-reading it until I
Got scared
That what I wrote
Would be criticized
Found distasteful
Or
Laughed at
And I would become the pariah of bloggers.
Hmm?
I'm finding this behavior of mine weird.
I usually don't care what others think about me
Or my writing.
And what I wrote wasn't even about about religion or politics
Hmm?
I'm going to have to think about this new behavior of mine.
Has this ever happened to you?
Have you ever been afraid to write/blog
What you're really thinking?

Always, Em-Musing

Yes, it has. And I'm planning a possibly distasteful and opinionated topic for Monday. We'll see if I go through with it...

It's full of intrigue and scandal!

Yeah I've felt this, but bit my tongue and posted anyway. Don't worry about it, we're all human! Post what you want to post. I don't think anyone is going to judge you. We're all super friendly :o)

All the time. I have to censor myself or my list of friends would drop to zero. I have that foot in mouth disease so I need to be careful.

Thanks for all your support. I'll post Monday on this "iffy" topic. Have a great weekend.

Oh yeah. Sometimes it feels good just to write it even if you don't hit publish. :)

Now you have to share...

I feel like this quite often! But I think as long as you're not hurting others... and possibly your future... people appreciate honesty.

I try to be honest without being offensive. However, I do have to watch my humor. I might think something is screamingly funny while a reader might get upset. You're right--it's a fine line we bloggers walk!
