Kids and tweens and teens and adults. But I've read that parents and immediate family, including grandmas! have the MOST influence on how kids grow up and what they believe to be true. So, keep talking with your granddaughter and be an important counterbalance to all the images on TV, on the internet, in the magazines, on billboards, etc.PM Kavanaughhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18158084685117474279noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-726301007480663156.post-75864610254606967402011-03-01T09:51:48.975-05:002011-03-01T09:51:48.975-05:00Which is why we don't watch tv at my house. (usually just NCIS if I can stay up that late.)

She doesn't know who Myley or Hannah or Britney is. And that's the way I want it. I tell her all the time she can be whatever she wants to be.

She's begging me to let her get her ears pierced. She's 6. I tell her she has to wait until she's 12. Because, I didn't get mine done until I was 12. She doesn't like it but that's too bad. I'm the Mommy.
