An editor read my one of my
manuscripts…
And commented on a chapter…
That involved underwear.
“I
laughed aloud reading this,”she said.
SCENE:
Five-acre native prairie in
the Midwest…
Handsome guy (younger) works
for protagonist…
She’s not so bad herself…
There’s an obvious
attraction…
But because she’s older…
She can’t imagine he really
wants her
She then has a “Walter
Mitty” moment.
SCENARIO IN HER HEAD:
The handsome guy
Asks if she would give him
a pair of her underwear
(please
don’t ask why this came to my mind)
And yes…
The ones she wearing!
But now she has to think…
Am
I wearing the silky black ones with lace?
Or
the thick white cotton old lady ones?
The scene then goes on and
on…
And gets more outrageous
with her imagination
After I amused myself
writing this…
I got to thinking…
Has underwear ever starred
in one of your stories?
And what if a whole book or
movie…
Was based on underwear?
