SIZE DOES MATTER

Sorry, size does matter…
At least to me…
But only when it comes to stroking…
Keystroking  that is…
On my computer’s and Droid’s keyboard.
I am in Akumal, Mexico now…
On my working vacation…
And have with me my handy dandy Acer laptop…
But just as my body has to acclimate to travelling…
My fingers have to acclimate to the size of my keyboard.
At home, I have a normal sized keyboard…
Where my fingers can fly across the keyboard with the greatest of ease.
On my mini laptop, however…
I have to remember to squeeze my fingers closer together…
And only use the tippy tips...
Because often, I’ll be keystroking away…
Only to look up and—huh?
What in the hell did I just write?
Seems to me that if you purchase a downsized laptop…
There ought to be a way to downsize your fingers.
And when it comes to my Droid…
Or any cell phone with texting capabilities…
I have to resort to using the tips of my fingernails.
Because once again I’ll be texing away and—huh?
What in the hell did I just write?
But the gobbledegook in this case is Droid’s fault…
Always second guessing what I want to say.
I hate that!
So?
Does size matter to you…
When it comes to keyboards?
Or are you a pro?
And know how to handle any size?

Always, Em-Musing

I suffered the same thing when I bought myself an wireless keyboard. It's kinda in between the size of a normal one and a mini one. So now I've learned to adapt to three different sizes. It was hard, but I managed eventually! So, no, in this case, size is adaptable ... ;o)

I can't stand typing or texting on phones. I don't really have sufficient practice, maybe, but I avoid it whenever I can because I find it so annoying.

Bahahaha this had me chuckling... I have a dirty mind.

I adapt to whatever is around. I text like nobody's business though I do prefer a nice old fashioned keyboard, they're the most comfortable.

Ha! The main reason I won't get a laptop. I need the extra wiggle room for my fingers.

I looked the mini laptops and decided against them. I'm still adjusting to needing reading glasses. One thing at a time. lol!
