Quick question...
Back in February I made my blog go dark…
(yellow to gray)
To allow myself time to hammer out submissions…
But now that I’m back blogging…
I don’t know if I want to switch my blog...
Back to yellow.
So?
My question to ya’ll is…
(and I really really need your input)
Which background color do you like?
Or is easier to read?
Yellow?
Or…
Gray?

I don't mind the gray, as long as the writing isn't white. When a blog is dark with white lettering, my eyes kind of cross. But the way you have it now hasn't bothered me at all.

I kind of like the gray. It's calming. Where yellow is bright and get-up-and-go.
Gray, definitely the gray. The yellow was sooo...yellow(I'm not a natural fan of yellow on any day.)

Actually, this works. I think the grey and blue is fine. My eyes aren't bugging out...if it were a black background with white lettering, well, we'd have a different story, LOL!

I like it just the way it is. It's clear and easy to read...
As a new follower (Well, hello there!) I never saw the yellow, but as an older (meaning my eyes aren't what they used to be) woman, I prefer the white text against the dark grey background. Makes for much easier reading.
(I'm a new follower via Alex Cavanaugh's Insecure Writer's Support Group, but I've seen your name around the blogosphere.)
I think I like the grey better. It's a little easier to read.
I have no problem reading it with the grey background.
Blue on grey is pretty nice. Usually, I don't like dark backgrounds but this one works for me.
I am not too mindful of any particular color, as long as the font is easily readable and not a strain on the eyes.
The gray you have is okay and works well with the font colors. In the end, I suppose you may have a different opinion by every person who happens to comment, so ultimately it would be your choice alone.
Experiment and find what is right for you.
I liked the former color. This gray is kind of drab and lifeless. The other gave me memories of summer.
I found the yellow a bit hard to read, if I'm honest. I quite like the grey!
