Some things concern me…
Or make me go, huh?
Like: Ingredients on milk cartons.
Isn’t milk the ingredient?
Does there need to be more?
And
there’s this notice:
Hip
replacement recall
OK, I
get there’s a problem with the contraption…
But
how do you physically recall it?
Also
recently…
I saw
some things…
That
never in my mind could I conjure….
Like:
Roosters
on a roof…
And
radishes in my soup.
OK…
Radishes
in p0zole as a garnishment…
Along
with lettuce, onion,cilantro and spices…
Is
actually delish.
But a
rooster on a roof?
(sorry, no pics)
And he
wasn’t the only one I saw…
I
have no idea why he was there other than...
Perhaps
he was looking for the hens...
And that where hens go…
To
escape…
When
they’re not in the mood.
I
don’t know…
What
about you?
Seeing
anything lately…
That strikes
you strange?
Always,
Em-Musing

Was it a hot tin roof? Because a cat is going to get that rooster if it was.
I don't know why I've never found roosters on roofs to be odd. It seems about as high as they can manage, and we all know roosters need to feel important. The ingredients in milk thing is hilarious, Leigh. I love your observations!
Ingredients in milk? Yikes.
Hm, living in London, not much strikes me as strange! There's all sorts here, that's for sure.
I laugh when I see the label of peanut butter and it says "Contains Peanuts".
Really?
I had to go look at the milk jug! Who knew?
I haven't seen a rooster on a roof, but I have seen a goat on a roof.
Interesting that there are ingredients on milk cartons. You are like Sherlock Holmes, nothing gets past you. Thank you for the compliment on my drawing :)
I love produce bowl ingredient lists. Who knew there was watermelon in a watermelon bowl? I'm shocked.
i love pozole!!! radishes only taste good in pozole for me :)
I actually just noticed that McDonald's oatmeal has about 10 ingredients in it. I had the same thought: "Isn't oatmeal the ingredient?"
The ingredient thing you said is so true! Wish things weren't that complicated.
Puzzling and funny at the same time. Enjoy your holiday! :O)
Oh, I love pozole, though I like cabbage in mine instead of lettuce and some chopped jalapenos add some kick. I can even deal with menudo, though maybe light on the tripas.
