I do find old people who can't even turn on a computer hilarious. I think a lot of older people think their computer is going to commit suicide if they press a single wrong button.
I don't know what is funnier.... your nephew calling your niece for advice or Adam's idea of people thinking their computer will commit suicide! hahaha.... any which way, please have a pep talk with the puter and tell your nephew it is really okay to take advice from a girl!!
I'm fairly tech savvy, but I'm sure my son will be surpassing me. The question is, when will he surpass my super techie husband? That will be the day. My son does help my mom when she's here. She told me with chagrin that she has had to call him downstairs after bedtime to help with something before. But I think she gets a kick out of it.
I have a degree in IT and am tech savvy with pretty much any gadget. My mistake was telling people about this, so now everyone calls or e-mails me when they have a computer/phone/tablet issue. I wonder at what age I can start feigning ignorance.
