I HAVE A DREAM

Every evening
Before my peepers shut for the night
I have a dream
Where I wake up in the morning
Make my coffee
Then write, write, write for the whole day
Or as much as I can fit into my day.
In this dream
I am not distracted
I am focused
My creativity soars
And my editing skills are stellar.
But *sigh*
The day always gets away from me
And I don't get done as much as I wanted to.
Trusts me
This made me crazy thinking I wasn't a normal writer
But then just this morning
A writer buddy
Posted this graphic on Facebook about the writing process.

What do you think?
Pretty much true, eh?
So? Tell me
How do you like to waste time?

Always,

Em-Musing

Add playing music for inspiration and it's rather close!

By thinking over how other people will react and then changing the scene. Of course, I go back and change it back to what it was a couple of hours later. I am still learning to accept myself and not seek approval from others.
I enjoyed your article today.
All the best.

Hey, I'm a PRO at wasting time. This is MY problem. However, I would like to work on some of my short stories with the hope of publishing some of them. Evidently that is a Fantasy. However, the catch is... if I want to publish something I HAVE to get back to working on my stories and researching places that might accept my stories. But, I have a sick husband and I've moved and I just can't seem to find my inspiration again... excuses, excuses, excuses!

Great post!

My dream is similar, that I'll sit down to write and the words will just flow in huge quantities. That chart looks pretty accurate to me.

That's definitely a dream. The graph is closer to my reality.
