Being gone a month…
Even though I had someone come in…
My apartment took a hit…
Like becoming one big fur ball because of my cat…
And dust bunnies as big as my cat under the bed…
And an avalanche of mail, mostly junk…
And some of my plants…
Well…
See what I mean?
Awwww!
At first I felt sad…
But then this lonely little petunia inspired me…
It just didn’t give up...
No!
It defied the odds!
It could have surrendered to the elements...
But it hung on!
It found a reason to continue...
And this little petunia reminds me of me…
With my submissions…
Hope and persistence.
And every now and then...
A friend rescuing me with some water of encouragement.
So?
What does my petunia inspire in you?
Or do you have a caption?
Always, Em-Musing
P.S. I am NOT putting those underlined words in my post.
Somehow advertisers have figured out how to
invade my blog and put their messages there.
I do NOT like this and will try to stop in the future.

A beautiful testimony to "The Need To Be"!
You remind me that we can all work a little harder toward our dreams and that by just believing- we can make it so. As we strive to write and to be published, perhaps we should remember: When something has gone to the trouble of happening, it is best to consider it inevitable! I certainly hope so!
Aw! What a brave, lovely little petunia. Definitely a survivor.
Hooray for the brave little petunia! What a trooper. I love how you compared the dustbunnies to cats. :)
Happy Weekend!

Can Alex save Winter from the darkness that hunts her?
YA Paranormal Romance, Darkspell coming fall of 2011!
Advertisers are sneaky and infective. Glad you kicked them out!
Keep up your fight with the submissions!
