On his death in 2012, The New York Times called Bradbury "the writer most responsible for bringing modern science fiction into the literary mainstream."

I've read all but one of those books. He was a big influence on my writing.
I am going to have to check out Dandelion Wine--I've not read it and it sounds like something I'd enjoy. I've read 451 and the Martian Chronicles. Have you read his "Zen and the Art of Writing? I read it a few years ago.
I'd heard of him but never read any of his books, only one compilation he'd edited. Given me a taste now!

I love Ray Bradbury. In fact, he will be mentioned on my blog later this month. “You have to know how to accept rejection and reject acceptance.” That's one of my favorite Ray Bradbury quotes.
Ray Bradbury was one of my favorite authors when I was growing up. I've read nearly all of his books. The only one you mentioned that I haven't read is Dark Carnival. Nice reminder that need to locate a copy and read it.
